02 · AI Readiness Review

Where you sit on the AI ladder. What to install first.

Two weeks. Six dimensions. Scored diagnostic, named tool stack with cost estimates, 12-month ROI projection, and a 90-day implementation roadmap. Independent: no vendor kickbacks, no recommendation bias.

R35,000 - R50,000

scoped on the discovery call

What gets reviewed

Six dimensions. Scored against benchmarks.

Each dimension is rated on a four-tier ladder: Lagging, Catching up, Operating, Compounding. The ladder is calibrated against SA SMEs in the same revenue band, not against San Francisco AI labs.

01 · AI literacy & posture

What the team actually understands about AI capability and limits, and where assumptions are quietly costing money.

02 · Data foundations

Whether your data is clean, accessible, and structured well enough for AI to read it without breaking outputs.

03 · Workflow inventory

Where manual operator hours are going, and which workflows are AI-ready vs which need re-architecting first.

04 · Current tool stack

What is installed, what is used, what is paid for and forgotten, and what is actively working against you.

05 · ROI measurement readiness

Whether you can measure the AI impact on cost or revenue, and what instrumentation is missing to prove it.

06 · Governance & compliance

POPIA exposure, data residency, prompt control, IP leakage. The risks AI introduces and how to contain them.

What you get

Four deliverables. All actionable.

Scored diagnostic

Four-tier ladder (Lagging, Catching up, Operating, Compounding) across all six dimensions. Where you sit, why, and what moves you up.

Recommended tool stack

Specific tools, named, with cost estimates and a justification for why each beats its alternatives. Free, mid-tier, and enterprise paths so the recommendation matches the budget.

12-month ROI projection

Modelled cost saving and revenue uplift from the recommended stack. Conservative, base, and aggressive cases, with the assumptions written down so you can stress-test them.

90-day implementation roadmap

Sequenced install order, who owns each step, and the success criteria. Plus a 60 to 90-minute Loom walkthrough of the report and the reasoning behind it.

Timeline

Two weeks, end to end.

Week 1

Workflow mapping and interviews

NDA in place by Day 1. Two interviews, one with you, one with whoever runs operations day-to-day. Workflow inventory captured. Current tool stack mapped, including what is paid for and unused. Data foundations assessed.

Week 2

Stack research, ROI modelling, roadmap

Tools researched against your specific constraints. ROI projection modelled. 90-day roadmap sequenced and pressure-tested. Scorecard finalised. Report and Loom walkthrough delivered by end of week. Optional 30-minute live debrief.

Fit

Who this is for.

For

  • SA SMEs at $250K to $5M annual revenue.
  • Operators who keep hearing 'use AI' but do not know where to start, or where to stop.
  • Teams burning hours on manual work that could be systematised and automated.
  • Founders considering AI tooling spend who want a system, not a stack of half-used trials.

Not for

  • Pre-revenue or sub-$250K businesses. The roadmap needs operating context to be useful.
  • Corporates over $25M. Enterprise AI consultants are better suited to that scope.
  • Anyone shopping for 'AI marketing' as a discrete product. AI is the how, not the what.
  • Teams who already have a CTO or Head of AI driving an internal roadmap.

Track record

AI ran the busy work. Operators ran the strategy.

Three years operating Yassir's growth motion across South Africa with an AI-augmented team. The Review productises that operating model: what AI was installed, where it broke, and what it took to make it compound.

FAQ

Questions worth asking.

How is this different from the Business Audit?

The Audit covers marketing, sales, and AI across eight dimensions, ranking them by revenue impact. The AI Readiness Review goes deeper on the AI side: six dimensions, named tool recommendations, a 12-month ROI projection, and a 90-day install roadmap. If you suspect your problems are broader than AI, start with the Audit. If you know AI is the gap, start here.

What's the difference between the R35,000 and R50,000 end of the range?

R35,000 covers a single-team operation with one or two existing tools to assess. R50,000 covers multi-team setups, multi-product operations, or international scope where the workflow inventory and tool recommendations need to span more lanes. Scoped on the discovery call before either side commits.

Will you recommend specific tools, or just categories?

Specific tools, named, with cost estimates and a justification for why each beats its alternatives. The recommendation includes free, mid-tier, and enterprise paths so the budget can match the fit. No vague 'consider an LLM tool' language.

Do you have vendor relationships that affect recommendations?

No. Jashughatt has no affiliate, reseller, or referral relationship with any tool we recommend. The Review is independent. If a free tool is better for your operation than a paid one, the report says so.

After the review, can you implement the roadmap for us?

Yes, but it is not bundled. Implementation is sold as a 90-Day Growth Sprint or a Full-Stack Retainer. Roughly 40% of Review clients implement themselves with the roadmap as their guide. The rest engage us. Both are valid outcomes.

What if our team cannot adopt the tools we recommend?

Adoption capacity is part of the review. Dimension 06 covers governance and operating capacity: who will own the rollout, who will use the tools day-to-day, and where the bottleneck is. If the team is not adoption-ready, the roadmap will start with capacity-building before tooling.

Next step

Two weeks from now, you have a roadmap.

The discovery call is 30 minutes. We confirm fit, scope, and price before either side commits. If the AI Readiness Review is the wrong entry point, we will say so.
